My HANNspree Hannspad tablet, converted to run on a modified version of Android 3.0 Honeycomb (Gtacomb Beta 3.3). There are one or two very, very minor issues; for example the BBC iPlayer app won't work, but you can still access iPlayer using Opera Mobile. Otherwise it's fantastic, much better than the standard version of Android that comes with the tablet (Froyo 2.2). And with Honeycomb you get full access to Android Market, which you don't get with the stock Hannspad software. The guide I used to do the update is here : www.slatedroid.com Quite involved, but if you're tech minded like me, it's not too hard to do. Please note that customising your tablet is COMPLETELY at your own risk - it worked out fine for me, but if you end up with an unusable tablet then I take absolutely no responsibility! Incidentally, the case I have for the tablet is one which was designed for the Acer Aspire Iconia A500 tablet, and it fits perfectly (you just need to bend two of the retaining clips slightly for a snug fit). I got it on eBay for £8... it's listed as "acer aspire iconia a500 tablet leather case with stand". Protects your tablet and holds it in a good position for use on a table too. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ EDIT: apparently the kernel file link is broken, so I've uploaded the file here : uploadingit.com I'm now using a more recent kernel, but I suggest you try both and see which works best for you. Here's the link to the more up-to-date kernel : uploadingit.com
